“When I’m not racing, I try to get in as much powder skiing as possible and try to perfect the world’s ugliest misty 7. Otherwise in the summer I love to waterski, mountain bike, play tennis and just about any other sport.”
A Q&A With Resi Stiegler
What about the products are you most psyched on and how do they help you?
The Slytech shinguards have been my favorite for a while. They don’t move around when I’m racing and the fit is fantastic. The arm guards as well. The sport that we are in is difficult to protect our whole body all the time and for this it works to help our arms stay bruise free.
What's the perfect day of shredding to you?
For me it’s about getting out in the outdoors. I love racing so much, but I enjoy a day of shredding powder with my friends on my home mountain. I am always up for an adventure and exploring new locations. So to be dead tired at the end of the day from spending it outside with friends ripping around the mountains. That’s the perfect day.
Gnarliest or scariest experience riding?
Every day on a bike is gnarly; I love mountain biking and how it tests you. It’s the best way to stay in ski shape and to keep your mind moving fast enough when you aren’t skiing. Those moments when you go off your bike and get a face full of gravel or you are going fast and out of control is the adrenaline rush you need to get up and say lets go back and do it again.
