“When I started skiing, I’m not sure if I realized that it would be something I would end up doing for the rest of my life. Or at least as long as possible. Through all of the other sports growing up, I think I chose to stick with skiing because of being overly attracted to the creative side of skiing. It doesn’t matter if your just cruising around, or doing the most challenging- scariest trick you’ve done. If you ride away and it felt cool to you, then your all good. Being able to share this with some of your best friends makes life unbelievable.”
A Q&A With Keegan Kilbride
Gnarliest or scariest experience riding?
I definitely have had a couple scary experiences while skiing in my life, sometime not the most fun part of skiing. This past season, in Denver, I caught my edge a little bit at the end of a closeout rail on the roof. Luckily flew down and landed on my feet, could have gone a lot differently and I’m thankful it didn’t.
Favorite place to ski?
In no particular order….Sugarloaf, Mammoth, Copper, Keystone, Bjornrike, Shawnee Peak and Hood.
What's the perfect day of shredding to you?
The perfect day of shredding to me would be hiking around somewhere with lots of fresh snow and a bluebird day sessioning a jump with the whole crew. Lots of gas, beef jerky, and sunshine.
